how i love to juice.... and make kale smoothies

I just came home from a shoot in Aspen CO for Nike.

the client asked me to make smoothies and juice for the uber healthy client - pro snowboarding ladies and the Nike fitness expert.

the shoot went well and i came home with a great smoothy recipe from Emily Choi - everyone loved it - well the trainer and her ladies did not have this because they do not eat fruit just veggies but the crew guys drank it up!

Emily Choi's Green Smoothy
1 banana
1 apple
1 thumb ginger
2 handfuls of kale (i used baby kale)
coconut milk or water (can sub plain water as well or almond milk, hemp milk etc)

 all goes in the blender with a pinch of ice and blend away!

this morning i made another version of this but added mango to replace the bananas gio despises.

carrot
beet
