savory oatmeal: Creamy cheesy eggy oats































Veggies of choice: sauté
Onion
Tomato
Mushroom 
Green onion

1/2 cups oats
1 cup water
1-2 tsp bouillon of choice (vegetable, chicken, mushroom, etc) 

1 egg whisked
1 tbs cream (whisked with egg)
Optional: 86 cream and add spoonful per person cottage cheese

(cheese to taste)
1 tbs cheese: cheddar, Swiss, smoked etc
pinch of salt to taste

1 in a pot, sauté veggies till almost cooked (add a pinch of salt) 

2. whisk egg and cream/ cottage cheese 

3. place into the pot the water and oats and start to simmer on medium-low heat then simmer until the oats are cooked. 

4. Once the oats are tender slowing stream in the egg mixture into the oats while continuously stirring to incorporate without scrambling.

5. once the egg is mixed in add the cheese and stir till smooth and creamy. Cover the pot and let them porridge steam for a few minutes to cook the eggs. Stir to make sure the bottom is not burning. 

6. you can play from here with adding more ingredients: cooked sausage/bacon, green onions, spinach, kale, etc

Keep the heat low, and stir to keep the bottom from sticking. 
The porridge will be creamy-custardy-wet. 
Make sure the eggs have cooked thru.
