- 1 pound green beans - washed and trimmed
- Stir-Fry Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
- 2 scallions chopped - white part only
- 1/2 teaspoon chili paste
- Sauce - mix together ahead
- 1 tablespoon fermented soy paste (doenjang)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons rice wine or dry sherry
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
stir fry green beans 7-10 minutes then hold in a bowl till the sauce is ready.
place the sauce ingredients into the wok and stir then add the green beans back in and fry another minute until well coated
