schezwan green beans

 

Vegetable

  • 1 pound green beans - washed and trimmed 
  • Stir-Fry Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or peanut oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
  • 2 scallions chopped - white part only
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili paste
  •  Sauce - mix together ahead 
  • 1 tablespoon fermented soy paste (doenjang)  
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce  
  • 2 teaspoons rice wine or dry sherry
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
stir fry green beans 7-10 minutes then hold in a bowl till the sauce is ready. 

place the sauce ingredients into the wok and stir then add the green beans back in and fry another minute until well coated
