tea sandwhiches

 cucumber butter herbed 

white bread, soft but firm to hold - used sara lee artesano 

cucumbers - sliced

butter or vegan butter (used the whipped butter with olive oil)

fresh dill

fresh parsley

lemon zest 

lemon juice (just a squeeze)

salt 

make

take the softened butter or vegan (I like earth balance) and add the herbs, lemon zest, lemon juice and salt and mix to incorporate. 

slice the cucumber around 1/8" slice (I tried the mandoline but they were too thin)

build the sandwich, bread with the herbed butter spread, cover with cucumbers then close and eat. 



prosciutto brie orange fig arugula 

white bread - I used izzies sourdough

prosciutto sliced 

brie - used a triple cream

soft butter

orange fig jam - purchased

arugula 


make 

build -  bread, butter, jam, brie, arugula, prosciutto, and then top with a bread that has butter and jam.
