smashed chickpea salad for sandwhiches

 basic chickpea salad

3 TBSP olive oil 
3 TBSP tahini 
1 1/2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
1-3 cloves grated garlic 
1 15 oz can chickpeas, simmer in liquid 10 minutes then smash and then cool
1/2 cup finely chopped clelery
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions 

OPTIONS: celery seed, capers, cilantro, jalapeno, avocado, green onion, parsley, basil, lemon juice, lime juice, hot sauce,
