vegan mac 'n cheeze

1 lb macaroni pasta boiled (GF vegetables: zucchini, butternut)

1 onion diced 

4 cloves garlic 

 2 1/2 cups cashews soaked 

2 3/4 cup water 

1/2 cup nutritional yeast 

1/2 lemon juiced 

3/4 garlic powder 

1 TB onion powder

1 tsp mustard powder 

3/4 tsp smoked paprika

2 tsp salt 


Saute onion and garlic till soft. 

In a blender, add the everything but the pasta into the blender and blend till smooth.

Pour the sauce into a sauce pan and heat on medium still the sauce bubbles and thickens slightly. 

Add the pasta into the sauce and either serve right away or bake in the oven with toppings if you like.
